Tracy Beck is a Quality Assurance Associate. She has a wide range of responsibilities including review of client data and reports and support of all Quality Systems. Tracy also composes protocol reports and assists with planning of large protocols.
Tracy started her career at MicroWorks in 2013 as a Laboratory Technician and was promoted to Microbiologist. In 2017, she moved to her current QA position.
Tracy’s education includes a B.S. in Food Science from Purdue University in Lafayette, IN.
Prior to MicroWorks Tracy held a number of positions within the food industry including Sanitation Manager and Quality Control Associate.
Tracy is proficient at LAL testing utilizing the Kinetic Turbidimetric Method (KTA). She has performed environmental monitoring at client facilities, including qualification and requalification of client cleanrooms. She has experience with the Climet particle counting system and SAS Air Sampler as well as surface sampling techniques. Tracy is also proficient at performing Microbial Identifications utilizing the Vitek V2C.
Tracy is proficient at USP <61> and <62> testing as well as method validation. She has played a major role in performing many disinfectant efficacy studies as detailed in USP <1072>.
